The Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA) is holding their 48th conference “to bring together pharma and biotech analytics professionals to discuss innovative analytical methods, emerging data sources and best practices to add value to the bottom line of pharma manufacturers and suppliers alike.” The PMSA Conference 2024 is being held May 5 – 8 at the Hyatt Regency Denver, Colorado Convention Center with views of downtown Denver AND the Rocky Mountains.

This year’s conference is on Next Generation Analytics: Shaping the Future of Pharma. Their program lives up to this promise. Of the 32 sessions being presented 10 have Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning mentioned in their title with many more presenting other advanced techniques in the pharma and biotech industry. The first keynote presentation on Monday morning is titled Next Generation Analytics and the last general session talk on Wednesday is on Predictive Modeling of Cancer…through AL/ML algorithms. Interestingly 1/5 of the 32 talks or 11 talks are being given by speakers from Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The speaker bios are available on the PMSA Conference 2024 website.

The Sunday kick-off sessions are more in-depth with a welcome reception from 6-9 p.m. afterward. Every day breakfast and lunch are provided as well as access to a vendor fair and poster sessions. Pfizer is sponsoring a Happy Hour, and Axtria, Trinity, WhizAI, CareSet, Beghou, McKesson Compile, PurpleLab and GenPact are all doing focus groups during the conference.

At PMSA Conference 2024 you will also have the opportunity to meet Smith Hanley Associates’ Pharmaceutical Commercial Analytics Executive Recruiter, Eda Zullo, who will be in attendance in Denver. Reach out to Eda at ezullo@smithhanley.com to set up a time to meet even if it’s just a casual chat at the breakfast bar. Put her 24 years of recruiting experience to work for you or your firm.
