Biography:
Managing Director Tracey Gmoser is a
dedicated recruiter with extensive market and industry knowledge and
more than 20 years experience. She manages
the pharmaceutical permanent placement business at Smith Hanley
Associates, LLC, and continues to recruit in her niche specialty-
biostatistics. The group focuses on pharmaceutical and biotech clients,
serving clinical operations, safety, outcomes and epidemiology, medical
writing, biostatistics, SAS programming and data management. The team
has recently expanded to include scientific recruiting in drug
research.
Tracey joined SHA in 1984 and her long-term working
relationships with clients allow her to offer an exceptional knowledge
base of industry trends and contacts. "It's our niche philosophy
that makes Smith Hanley unique,' she says. "Our
clients and candidates always work with the recruiter best suited to
meet their needs."
Tracey attributes much of her team's success to a seasoned
recruiting staff. "Candidates and clients work with the same
recruiter for years," she says. "We track a candidate's
experience and accomplishments and present appropriate career
opportunities with on-going career planning. Our clients know we are
representing their company and opportunity accurately in the
marketplace," says Tracey.
Prior to joining SHA, Tracey was a manager at Merrill
Lynch where she worked as a client liaison and learned to manage
expectations, anticipate problems and push for solutions. She has a BS
in business from the University of Wisconsin.
