Biography:
Janine Korson joined Smith Hanley in 2006 after a 7 year career in the
financial services industry.
Currently, Janine is focused on long/short equity research and portfolio management
as well as event driven investors, private equity and investment banking. Janine previously focused on the
recruitment of portfolio managers. Janine served as a Relationship
Manager within the Private Client division of Citigroup where she
marketed private banking products and provided advisory on various
wealth management strategies.
Janine began her financial career as a Marketing Associate at
Angelo Gordon, where she managed and served as a key contact between
Angelo Gordon and over 700 of their client’s investors. Janine
graduated with a BS degree from Northeastern
University in Boston. Additionally, she is a NASD certified
investment advisor. Janine is
also a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds and served as a volunteer
with Big Sisters of New York City as a group facilitator for their
program Business Women in Training.
